That snare is amazing! I am a huge fan of all things Mexican. I've travelled to the beautiful country maybe forty times over the years. I've even written a book set in Puerto Vallarta. Where did you find the wrap? Was it already a part of this drum? PLEASE, tell me the history! Thanks!

Hey Brian,
This is a Jenkins-Martin, spun fiberglass drum. Its not a wrap, but a special fabric that is laid up in the shell, so it's actually a part of the shell. If you don't know anything about J-M, they have recreated the old Blaemire shells.
