I bought some cream colored Slingerland drums that have slant cut bottoms. They could be marching drums or concert drums, not sure. serial number 25545 is one of them...are they old and what are they worth....having trouble downloading the pics

They sound like marching tenor toms from your description...What color are the badges?

In the late seventies Slingerland made what they called "cut away toms", but grantro is right, pictures needed.

Yes LongJohn, just like those except cream colored. I want to sell them but not sure of the value?
So the value of the set of drums is pretty minimal as far as selling them goes... It would appear to be less than $100. BUT... perhaps the value to a high school percussion program that is in need of instruments and doesn't have funding to purchase a new set of drums like this.
Might be worth looking around at local districts... just a thought over my morning coffee. Coffee Break2 If you itemize you might be able to get a write off there and help some kids out too.
