Sound King lugs and stick saver hoops indicate earliest date of mid fifties just post Radio King time frame.

...just...but I think you could still get a Radio King solid steam bent kit at the time as they were getting out of the shells.

A previous owner had glued cardboard (with his name on) over the resonant calf head? When I peeled it off I came across the Slingerland Radio King logo.
