Hello Dave,

Did you buy that set in Chicago? I remember seeing one quite sometime ago in one of those old barn buildings where the show was held. I think I also so a set back at "Pete and TJ's" in Toledo in the 90's.

Anyway, great set!

Mr Zima !!!!

Good to hear from you buddy. Looking forward to seeing you in Chicago with Mark.

Yeah, I did buy it from the show. 1997 or 1998 can't remember which one. I'm trying desperatly to remember what the guy's name was that I bought it from, just can't place him for the moment.

It was when the show was in the FIRST building that's been knocked down. Remember the one toilet outside and Liam guarding the entrance.

:-)

Is that an aluminium badge?? I was salivating before, now I'm drooling :)

The description of finishes I've seen for drums of that era is a combination of the color and the word 'pearl', e.g. green pearl. So I'm guessing Blue Pearl or Ice Blue Pearl??

Whatever the name might be, the one word that comes to mind is ... 'MINE' Excited

Have you taken a lug off to check for any color change over the years?

Hi Guys,

Cyllocke

Yes, badges on bass and snare are indeed aluminum.

I'll add your name to the que of people wanting them :-)

4MoreYearsOhNo

Yes, I've had every nut and bolt off the whole set. hardly any color change at all. Bass drum is pretty faded in comparison though. I'm finishing that drum off this weekend. Should be finished and re-assembled by Monday.

Unknown as to why you can't see the pics other than maybe you have to be logged in. Are you registered on the forum? If not, that may be why. New upgrade may have done this.

It's my pleasure to let others see the set. After all. we're all drummers together on this forum.

More soon guys, when set is fully cleaned.
