What a cool find! Was this a ebay purchase or?? You've been grabbing some very nice gear lately and this is just tops! Pretty neat everything is still together all tucked in that cool old case.

What you have there are some fine museum pieces my friend..I suggest you put them on display behind some glass..:DYou have what can easily be described as some of the first pedals ever constructed, some cymbal holders, a snare stand..Very nice .. Also, that snare you have looks like a dream..Beautiful, and no doubt brass..Yes ?

Thanks for the info. Always appreciated. I'm pretty sure it's a two piece brass shell. I intend to keep it and even play it, but I don't want to damage those calf skins. Are they durable enough? I've never played on these skins. Cheers.

Left to Right:-long single tension BD rod with batter claw & threaded reso side claw-MARVEL brand snare drum stand basket-bass drum pedal & floor board assembly-two cymbal holders (perhaps for a trap table?) & some type of hook clips? for hanging triangle or other traps?-bottom tripod of MARVEL brand snare drum stand-rubber coated snare drum brush, tympani stick, lambs wool BD beater rod, felt wrapped wood BD beater rod, various drum sticks appearing to include 3 probably 1920s/30s vintage Ludwig (blue sticks).-The snare drum sports a Ludwig calf logo head and the overall appearance of 1920s vintage Ludwig snare in its original configuration - hoop clips & snare strainer/throw mounted to the top batter hoop.A very nice find!

The snare stand says The Hamilton. What is a Marvel snare stand? :)

If you can set up the snare stand....I`d like it.

Some photos of the stand. Arrived today. Happy with the snare, but about half the hoop clips are split. I need to replace them.

Sorry the photos aren't the best. It's a cool stand.

Has anyone here ever seen a stand like this one before? It's stamped The Hamilton and patented in the early part of the last century. The thing I'd like to know is if it's all there or not.
