WFL Duco Snare

I'd like to know more about the drum I just bought. I know it's a WFL duco drum from 55-59. But I do have some questions. I'm used to knowing everything about my old drums lol.

Is it original interior, looks too nice to be I think.

Does it have nickel over brass hardware?

What is that handle looking thing next to the keystone badge?

(Not the muffler or throw off)

Any good cleaners for cleaning nickel hardware?
