Class act in every regard and i think i can hear her from here.Funny how just seeing certain drums just makes you want to play and that McKinley model does just that.

Eric. I have Remo emperor coated on top remo ambassador on bottom. puresound snare wires. It sounds fantastic. The stock Ludwig snare wires are in good shape but they sounded dead. So I had the puresounds already and it was a good swap.
I've got puresounds too, Diplomat top and bottom and it's dead.
But it looks cool! :D
So nice! Congrats Mark it's a beauty. How do you like the Classic strainer?
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Killer drum! Looks like it's in great condition.
I had one 10 or so years ago that had to be recovered. I sent it to Precision Drum and had it done in Silver Sparkle.
Very woody tone with a lot of depth.
Parted with it along with the 80's Ludwig Super Classics in Silver Sparkle I was playing at the time. Huge sounding drums, and that snare fit in well with them.
