I have a 6.5x14 Gold Laquer finished Brass 10 Lug Snare. The Laquer is smuged in an artsy way. I was told that this brass shell was made for Slingerland by the same company that made the Black Beauty Shells for Ludwig. The Badge is from between 62 and 65 and the Lugs are pre "70". Just wanna know if the shell is from the same era. It makes a beautiful sound so I've never cared to know all this but I am thinking of selling it.
