Walberg and Auge Marching Snare Drum

Hi everyone - I just picked up this Walberg and Auge marching drum, and was wondering if I could find out about how old it is, and what its value might be. [roughly] It is 16 x 16 inches. I don't see any markings on it to indicate its age. Is there any way to tell about when this was manufactured?

Also if anyone can recommend a book or link that could help me out.
