Hey John congrats!! Hope you and Bev have been well. I don't see any of the pictures anymore in this thread. Just a little box that say to update your PB acct. Hope you can get them back. All the best buddy!

Ya, I thought Tommy has told people to download the pictures directly to this forum so they would always be there no matter what. This is a good lesson for people using picture sites (or whatever you call them), its a shame that the tread with the most views is now worthless. Too bad people cant listen and do what the mods keep preaching over and over. John, I hope you can restore the pictures and do whatever it takes to keep them here. There, I helped you achieve your 100,000. views goal!

Thank you!

"its a shame that the tread with the most views is now worthless."

Wow! "Worthless?" Really?

Those photos were hosted at Photobucket. Photobucket has always been a free service. Recently they were acquired by another outfit and now it costs $400 per year to use the service. They have blocked -all usage- from existing (formerly free) accounts. I just don't have that kind of $ for photo storage.

I will try to reattach all the images and fix the thread, but dang that was harsh Jeff. Almost sounds like you were glad it happened so you could make your point. Even without the photos the thread is -full- of useful information.

The images in this thread will be replaced as soon as I can. I have some medical issues I'm dealing with so it won't happen overnight, but it will be restored. In fact, I've already reattached a bunch of the graphics.

John you read me wrong, you know how everyone loves pictures, they tell the story too. Worthless was a bad choice of words to use and Im sorry if it ruffled your feathers. I did say I hope you can restore the pictures, you read that part right? Im not glad it happened at all, I have a lot of respect for your work on those drums. But I am however trying to point out the reason the mods dont like hosting service's, this is a perfect example. Its a shame, just a darn shame, I feel bad for you and the forum. Good luck, hope you can get them back. I never hope for bad things to happen to my friends, sorry for the response.

Thank you!

Perhaps the GREATEST Thread ever.

BTW, I can still view the pics.

I do not see the empty boxes where pics were with a renew sign anywhere yet.

And here are the last posted pics that I dragged from the thread.

Oh man, can you help me please? I can't see any of the old photos. I have replaced a bunch but there are still a bunch missing. Do me a huge favor please... copy all the photos to your hard drive, put them in a folder and email them to me. I just want to restore the thread back to what it was and your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance because I know you and I know you're going to try... help me get this bugger back up and running. You da man.

How did I read your comment "worthless" wrong?

I've been around this forum a lot longer than you. I know the 'rules' as well as you do. If Tommy P didn't comment on the issue (who is the actual moderator) how did you see it as -your job- to publicly castigate me and make me an example of what not to do?

I read you correctly alright. You almost gloated. Hey, thanks for the heads up anyway. Now I can fix what is wrong and put it back the way it was. You say you're my friend. You could have approached this in a way that was more helpful and supportive. Read your own post. You came off like a rogue hallway monitor with a badge and too much authority. Lighten up - just tell me what's wrong and I'll fix it. You didn't need to go off the deep end.
