While it was a standard finish, it wasn't really advertised. Makes me wonder how drummers were even aware of it! The same holds true for Green-Gold Duco...not advertised, but readily available!

Ludwig would let you order any lacquer colors you wanted. I don't know about their crosstown rivals but my guess would be that Slingerland would do the same.
