Vintage Premier Set Last viewed: 8 hours ago

Loading...

I have a Premier drum set from the 1958 catalog listed as "Outfit 54". It consists of a bass 24x14, tom 12x8, floor tom 16x18 and an Ace snare drum 14x5.5. They are WMP and yellowed as expected. The covering has a few scratches that are virtually undetectable and the chrome is awesome. The only restoration that has been done are the hoops which I sanded and sprayed Matte Nickel Silver which is an exact match to the original color.

I haven't seen another Premier set this age or size in all the sites that I've looked, and I would like to get an idea of their value. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Thank You

John C.

I have no idea the value, but these drums are beautiful and I'm sure sound awesome.

They're a match to the old kit that my high school had, which, coincidentally, got me hooked on vintage drums a mere 20+ years ago.

I'm sure someone here will be able to help you out.

Best,

Aaron

I have no idea about value, but those really are beautiful. Excellent kit indeed. I am assuming these are metric sized drums.

Estimated value is "priceless". Those are really nice. Keep 'em!
