Hi folks, this is my first post on a forum ever so bare with me.

My question i have is, i'm using a buddy's snare and it's mid

1960's. Date stamped inside (may 12,1964) it has all the mid 60's

stuff, badge, hardware. Just wondering what it's werth and if i should

keep useing it.

I can't think of any reason you wouldn't play it unless you play in a style that would eventually damage the drum or... perhaps you would be concerned that it would get stolen.

Ludwig Jazz Festival snares are a stealthy drum that commands hundreds of dollars but that is because they are a great snare and meant to be played. Stealthy to mean they don't look all that rare and special.

So snap a couple pics and post'em up, there are lots of players here who will be happy to give the low down on the drum.

Welcome
