Looks like a COB snare drum with that flaked spot of chrome and the yellow-ish color behind it. Drums are pretty decent, but need a super cleaning.. Rust looks like it's just on the surface and not all the way through. I suggest soaking all rusted parts in mineral water with vinegar over night, and you'll see the rust disintegrate and disappear. Then a good washing with dish soap and a spritz with any household cleaner, wipe down with a soft cloth..After all that , i usually blow dry all parts just to get into the areas where a cloth can't get to.. You have a really nice set of drums that just need some love and time to bring back from it's hibernating state. I would agree with most on it's value, ranging between $900-$1200 after you've gotten everything cleaned up. However, in the current state they're in, I would offer him $800.. Good luck !

Thank you for your time!

I'll talk to the seller soon. I want to check the drums in local first. Usually the photos don't show the real shape of things.

Guys, tell me your opinions please.

What do you think about this kit? What can you tell about this era kits?

Are this in good shape? Do you see any damage or problem?

Check the photos and take a look at the floor tom shell joint. Is it an offset?

How much would you offer for the entire kit? (Min and Max values)

Thank you!

This era kit will sound fantastic. I have had several kits from this era. I don't think the snare model 400 is a brass model at least with the provided pics anyway. But $800.00 is a good price less is better. How does the seller sound to you price wise?

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Hi. The seller said me that prefer don't say a price. Instead he asked me to make my offer, because he knows two other guys that are intereted in the kit and this way he can choose the highest offer. I didn't make an offer yet.

Until the moment he is not selling online. I got his contact when I bought a snare from a friend of him. They are guitar players.

You definitely need to inspect them before you can make a realistic offer. If that snare were brass (which I don't think it is) it's worth quite a bit on it's own, up to around a grand...if it isn't brass it's a $200 drum (if that, in its condition).

What kevin said, Try a $500.00 offer the missing bass drum cymbal mount and cymbal L arm will cost you another $100.00 so try a low offer first, But go look it over well before any offer at all.

Yes, I'm thinking about 500. But I prefer offer in local. How much would be your highest value? Don't forget this is in Europe, this kits are not so easy to find here.
