Saw Joe at a small venue up here in Cambria. They seated us next to the drums. Damn! Hate when that happens!. Great guy! What a lesson in brushwork first hand. Hung out with us on breaks, dragged me back to his kit to see a snare he'd just redone and was *very* proud of. His wife told my wife "forget it, It's always that way"....
