Dating them might not actually be so easy.

these have rectangle badges so theyre either the pre-martin era, or the transitional era where they put martin on the badges but they were still making them in NY

I agree, it's a good deal, but look hard at the mounts and hardware. The tom mounts in particular are prone to cracking and parts in general are hard to find and expensive.
