I don't think I would classify 1990's drums as vintage but, it certainly was an excellent gesture to donate these fine instruments to a worthy cause. Good people still exist out there!

I heard that eBay is going to move their vintage year up to 1990, instead of pre-1980

it will soon be pre-1990 :D

I consider both of my 80's Tama kits to be vintage.
