Very sad indeed. I didn't know he had cancer. So sad to hear this.

Very sad indeed. I saw it on his Facebook page earlier. And I was hoping to be able to see him play the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, NH this year.....outlook not so good now... :(

Just saw this on MSN.com. Sad and too young (in my book). Played "The Weight" many nights back in the day, with a group of guys that did a great job on the harmonies. That song is forever burned into my memory.
