I have a friend with a complete set of 9 gold drums, 9 cymbals with all original hardware, peddles, and cases that have been storage for 60 years, it is available to me. I don't know a whole lot about drums, just enough to hit the right one at the right time, but this strikes me as an incredible opportunity.
I haven't seen them but am told in very good condition, what is a real value of these in today's market? Thanks
it depends on the brand, the model, the sizes and the condition. there could be great value in the cymbals.

Those look to be professional level Ludwig drums-tensioners on both heads as opposed to tacked bottoms,parallel strainer on the snare,steel hoops-not wood,extra large rail mount and a double-tension 26" bass.As stated-beautiful,and useable drums.
