Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $800 for one.

I tried selling a 70s Ludwig 13/16/18/22/snare a couple of years ago, and finally had to let it go for $600, after listing it on craigslist for over a year at $900 obo...

caddy, those sizes are so available and not very desirable, hence the pricing. if you included a supra with it, it sounds like the buyer got an insane deal. i know 14" luddy floors command in the 500 range alone, im assuming its value is over 1500 in legit jazz sizes. anyone with experience in the smaller sized drums care to confirm or deny my suspicions? thanks in advance!

2 Gs would be my guess. did you check sold listings on ebay?

1500, 2G's sounds a little high to me, but I have searched for and bought a few bop size kits and they're hard to find in decent condition and depending on the market you are in def. command a higher price than a 4 or 5 piece standard sized kit. I just paid 1200 for an 18" bass drum alone. (not a ludwig)

Camco and gretsch 18 12 14 have gone for crazy money,even in this economy,but about a year ago a nice Luddy Jazzette was up on E prey a couple of times,had period correct stands,and A zils,a lot of speculation on these forums about what it would fetch,every one thought it would bring 2500.00 minimum,as I remember it did not sell either time,I think the seller had a reserve on it that was not met,but I don't think the bids made got close to that.

I would think one would bring 1700.00 to 2300.00,just my O.
