Hi. I saw this snare for sale and I want to know the brand/model and value.

Any info is much appreciated. Thanks.

Those are Leedy Lugs. Beyond that I'm not sure of much other than it would most likely be an early 1930's drum.

Thank you for the reply. I'll search for vintage leedy snares to get more info.

... and, that looks very similar to an early Trixon parallel throw ... leading me to believe that this drum is most "probably" not regular manufacture/stock, but rather any early custom build. But one never knows for sure on these things until all the facts are in! Still...

And one tension rod is missing, two holes drilled in the sell, the hoop seems to be warped, etc.

Unless you're into restoration, or willing to pay for it, i'd say pass.. Restoring this drum will take time and money, and a lot of patience.. If you're up to that,

then i wish you good luck ;)

I am thinking of buy and restore, no problem with it. I am afraid only of missing or broken parts because they shouldn't be easy to find and certainly not cheap.
