Just in time to build the ugly kit you've always wanted for the sticky bars. Put it in the back of your pickup-- no worries.

Wow. I imagine there won't be any problems moving these.

Just added them to my watch list. Who knows, there may be enough good ones to make it worth it!

One thing is for sure -- the seller is obviously trying to be as "up-front" as possible as to their condition... very thorough in his description, and wow! Never seen that many detailed pics for lugs before!

Now that I take another look, some of those pictures are duplicates. Maybe it's just my general observation, but I think lots of big pictures make it less likely that a buyer will dispute a transaction. If I post a couple crappy pictures with a long description, who knows what the buyer might do/say later.

Thanks

From auto.pilot

You're probably right on your observation on the pics.

As far as disputes, I've had a couple of those with buyers not happy with what they got from me. In one case I sold a set of 6 of what I described as "B" Ludwig Classic Lugs. They had some pitting, flaking, scratches, etc., and I specifically stated that the mounting screws were very rusty. I only used one picture (keeping the listing as CHEAP as possible), but tried to describe them as "up-front" as possible. Even said I'd probably only use them on the bottom of BDs.

Well, they ended up bringing a decent price (better than I anticipated), the buyer paid right away so I shipped them out USPS small flat rate box right away. 2 days later I get positive feedback from the buyer.

About a week later I get a message from the buyer with the subject "item not as described." He let me have it, saying the mounting screws were "worse than I had described" and that 2 of the lugs were stripped out and not usable. Worse purchase he had ever made.

Well, I didn't have to do it (he can't retract his feedback) but I sent him 2 more lugs with some more screws. Never heard back from him... lesson learned, I guess...

Anyway, I do try to be as "descriptive" as possible in my listings, but sometimes potential buyers, in their desire to score a big bargain, seem to see things through "rose-colored glasses."

When I'm purchasing, I guess I'm the other way around -- I NEVER expect to get parts from eBay in "pristine" condition, and always bid accordingly!

Thanks - ebay listing fees are zero right now. The first picture is free. Adding them to the listing like I have done is really quite easy - and that's free too. All you need is a photobucket account (also free).
