Tower WMP snare.

This filthy little drum was waiting for me when I got home Friday. Looks to be orginal down to the factory air inside. Its been a while since I've had a drum this nice to clean up. Here's a before shot, after shot to follow.

Here are a couple of after shots and a larger before shot. Its refreshing to know that nice drums like this are still out there.

I think that WMP is the most elegant wrap there is!! Looks like the WMP wrap aged well...Very nice snare!!

Wow nice job! How did you get it so white? Looks like there was a little age yellow in the before picture.

Very very nice! It looks like it was just taken off the shelf from the music store. It even has the added tone control. Someone's parents splurged back in the mid to late 60's. What's the serial number, if you don't mind posting? I just bought a Luxor with S/N 10000 and it had a date of 12/65 written on the label.

- Tim

Edit - Oops, I was thinking Luxor even though I saw Tower. ;) The Tower actually came with tone control.

Thanks, I think the grime may have protected the finish. After cleaning with simple green I used Meguiars cleaner wax then a coat of polish.

The serial # is 12434.
