too much money Last viewed: 17 hours ago

I guess "too much money" is a relative term! Technically, I'm unemployed, so any time I spend money it's "too much money"! That being said, I know that I have some regrets with items I've purchased and have felt I overpaid. However, when it's truly a part or item I need to complete a project, I'll pay whatever it takes to get it!! I'm sure we've all been there!

From Chappy50

My purchases have probably evened out over time. Made a few stupid buys and a few golden finds.I play what I own so the joy of playing cool old drums outweighs some of the stupid purchases.

This describes my situation. Lots of good deals, and sometimes I've paid more than I think is fair for drums because I simply want to tinker with them. I've even made some purchases that seemed like steals only to try to sell the kit a year later for what I paid for it, and have no bites. Then again, I live in Portland, where Super Classics DON'T sell for $500 ("would you take $200 for those old drums?")

Seriously, if any of you are wanting to buy inexpensive vintage drums, come to Portland. They're cheap and plentiful...
