If you mean Thunder Drums, I'm pretty sure they were made by Pearl as starter or beginner drums. Try posting this on the "non USA" forum. Those guys know everything about MIJ (made in Japan) drums. Good Luck

It is a second hand drum kit. not sure as to the origional deatails. in regards to the logo it is very very nearly like that but different. same font same colour but different style. it has printed on each of the skins 'made in tiwan R.O.C Tay- e co ltd. it also came with zyn cymbals. possibally could of been a package deal but im not to sure if they were. it is a 12, 13, 16 so preety std rock kit!

I would LOVE to see pics of this kit. My VERY first drum set was a Thunder, and I have been looking for one for quite some time. Can you post pics please? Are you interested in selling them?

Thanks!

I am away for the weekend, may be able to put a photo on during the week, i may be interested in selling them at the right price but i have become quite attached to them, i have recently done some renovation on the snare aswel. i am possibally thinking about covering the bass drum tom mounts with a sheet of metal and having just a 12" mounted on a cymbal stand? would any of you guys recomend this or have any tips?

I agree! Do not drill extra holes in anything!!! Really bad idea and hurts any future value that may be there. Get some pics up this week and guys can really help you a lot with info.

Cheers!
