And here is the whole Ludwig black oyster drumset together...1960s baby!!!! Go Ludwig!!! I spent some good time playing these today. Also, my old Zildjian A cymbals are seen in this photo. Enjoy!

The Ludwig "Pioneer" snare is one of my go to snare's i have 30 of them all from 1960-69..I have used them in playing Jazz, Blue's and R&R..I also get alot of replys to rent them out to studio's...Mikey

My '59 Trans-badge Pioneer in WMP is so warm, open and woody...

Definitely not articulate enough for complex rudimentary work. Jazz Fest and Supra were meant for more tighter playing.

Pioneer is fantastic for fat open blues & bass. guitar2
