Hello everyone.

Just a thought.............I think it would be a more social and friendly atmosphere if everyone gave their 'real' name after each post. I'm not talking about Profile names - just giving your real name after a post is what I'm saying.

I know some of you by your real names because of seeing your names here or through PM's and/or emails. It's nice to get to know you on here and elsewhere. For instance: When I post something on another Forum I often say "it's Gary (Kona on VDF)" and right away folks may recognise me by only doing that small thing.

It's a personal thing I know, and some may not feel totally comfortable giving out their name online for whatever reason. I don't mind....I'm old....and I'm not afraid to go back to jail ....haha. All kidding aside though....I think it would add to the Vintage family atmosphere here if people signed their posts. Many here do and I really like that when I see a post signed by Mark, John etc.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

I used to put my name on the bottom of every post but didn't think anyone cared. But your right so I will start again.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

p.s. Speaking of "old" I wonder how many on here are under age 40?
