After years of playing a huge fusion kit with all the stands, I'm very happy with my 4 piece 3-ply Ludwigs and my three stands. And you know what? I get more compliments on holding a tight groove than I ever did on hitting all those drums. People used to compliment me for my drums. Now they compliment me for my playing AND my drums =)
