You are right about the showmanship ID4F. I've noticed that time and time again. I also really dig onyx on Rogers drums, so blue onyx in that video looks superb. If anybody has other videos of the period showing guys playing Rogers drums in color, send them along. Again, this is a great video given they are actually playing. I found a video of the Dave Clark V recently that is really funny because they were forced to play after the backing track failed. I had to do one video years ago where we were faking it to a backing track. Such nonsense. That is one reason the Beatles stuff is generally nice to watch because they were nearly always playing live here in the US. Dave Clark Five - backing tape failure - YouTube

Can anyone put up The Rezillos version of this?

I used to play that in a band....Thanks

Hard to be sure because they don't provide good closeup, but they do look like Celebrity kits. I think there is little doubt, however, that they are configured as a 22,13,16 kit and the snare looks like a COB Powertone. Here the sizes are the same, but the mount layout seems to be different than a Celebrity would be - maybe a Swingtime. The nice thing about this video is that he's actually playing. The Turtles Elenore 1968 - YouTube

That was the video that got me into Rogers. I saw it and was like WOW even with the recording methods for live music back then the bass drum sounded perfect.
