No worries Luck... the drum guru thing embrassed me a little when it showed up under MY name so I'm probably a little over sensitive about it... Cool1

Not a Guru... just interested..

I think I noted some where in this thread... they can be touchy about the attic. Friday afternoon or Saturday seemed to work best. They won't let you go up there alone so if they are busy you will be waiting for a while.Obviously cash in hand with the clear intent to purchase... or at least make an honest offer is a much better motivator to open the door than just being curious. If you get those WMP keystone Luddy's before me... well, I'll be ****ed. :D

I'm NOT a "Vintage Drum Guru".... I am a total novice player and collector who simply asks too many questions.

U are a world class mixer, Jim.

From The Ploughman

WHY cant these places be where I live????

Years ago the place to find this stuff in MKE was Faust Music.

The only difference was that most of the inventory was NOS

with the original tags.

Sonor "Teardrop", Camco Moire, Rogers Swivo, and cymbals and

accessories, oh my.

Today Bill is in his 80's and an appointment is required to gain

entry. Once inside, well that can be an enlightening or terrifying

experience.

Soap Box

Only a few seem to measure up ( Bermuda from Weird Al most recently )

and it's cash on the barrel or get out.

While many dispise the man, I heartily recommend a side trip should

you find yourself on Kinnickinic Avenue. The pictures on the wall are

worth the trip.

Oh, and call ahead...
