The Badge quest Last viewed: 26 minutes ago

Yesterday I took a nice country ride to see some "Walberg" drums. A Craig's List post claimed to have all the original hardware and the badges were Worcester.

I got there, the badges were Auburn, the drums were in awful condition and the "original" hardware was a small collection of non Walburg lugs. Needless to say, I left the money in my pocket and beat feet.

Since both my sets were built in Worcester, I only know about the hex lugs. When the drums were being made in Auburn did they change them in a huge way? The inside of these shells were painted black, and the lugs and housings were all wrong.

So I am still looking for two W&A perfection Worcester badges.Cooked Egg

I'll keep my eyes open for your 2 badges if you keep a lookout for me for a W&A gold sparkle floor tom!

Thanks, Mikey. The encouragement is great! There is a huge flea market near here that happens every Sunday in the summer. It's the kind of place where I might get lucky if I can just drag my a*^ out of bed. I always figured it's the kind of place where, if a guy dies, his wife brings all his stuff down there. You know what I mean?
