Hi guys,

This forum is a great place. Met up with James (Father Time) this afternoon to pick up a lever for Slingerland 3 point strainer. It was really nice to meet another forum member! Just wanted to thank James for showing me his collection and taking the time to talk drums with me. I should also mention that Father Time makes some killer looking and sounding drums and was nice enough to let me take one home to try out. Very, very cool and much appreciated. Looking forward to the next meeting. Thanks again!

Yea, I'd have to admit he's a pretty cool stand up guy. The staves he builds are top notch. He does have pretty cool collection of snares. I am also in the area, and James text message me and told me how cool it was meet another vintage drum collector. I am glad you guys got to meet up.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. It is always fun to meet another forum member and talk shop. Yep. The wife is going out of town in May. We can play the snares and pretend like we know what we're doing. I'll let you guys know the exact date. . . .James
