Tama snare strainer with rollers?

Loading...

Hello,

Can anyone help to describe how his snare strainer should be configured? I believe the snares should go over the roller not under. Are these the correct straps for the mounting. Or should there be threads or something?

Thanks,

Multijd.

Over the roller is correct. Any strap or thread works as long as they are long enough.

Never play it the same way once.

Actually the strap/cord should be under & around the roller... That's what the roller is for..

Cheers

John

Another point to keep in mind is that the Tama "Roller Bed" strainer system was designed to use extended wires. I've attached some pictures showing how it should look. The last picture shows a drum with the incorrect length wires! Hope this helps!
