I'm a definite maybe... every drum day/expo I've been to has been full of 15 year olds slamming everything as hard they can (must have been after I chased them off my lawn Clint Eastwood style), I have higher hopes for this event though.

I'd say the show was a success going by the numbers. No more than around 9 vintage kits on show though, these were unattended and I don't think they were on sale... Excuse my pics, cheap camera and poor lighting... Steele at Kentville Drums also had some vintage including a Supra but it was hard to get in for a shot..

Camcos were interesting... The Pansini acrylic kits are made in Sydney and some have internal lighting... Nice Glow..

Lots of amazing timberwork from 4 or five brands of Oz manufacturers,

and the Sleishman kits sounded amazing.. Met up with half a dozen Guys from other forums and stands but no other VDF members... Printed myself a "VDF Longjohn" nametag for which I was given a discounted admittance fee Excited .. all in all a good day..
