Steve besides the original 3 pt missing are both bridges missing also? When I bought my RK (same size as yours just in WMP) it was missing the original Clamshell throw side. A Pearl strainer was added by using some spacer plates to avoid drilling new holes. So it didn't have the extended snares on the drum. To be honest it sounded like crap. Like a old dry cardboard box. Was kinda bummed. I ordered up some correct replacement PS wires for the clamshell RK and rigged them with a metal L bracket on the Pearl strainer. Problem solved. Drum sounded wonderful again. I now have it all together with correct parts and it's happy as a clam again LOL. My point being if you don't like the sound of the drum as is do try the extended snares and correct bridges and strainer. It's always nice to have the drum original as built even if there's a few extra holes. I heard the Gibralter 3 pt does fit some Leedy 3 pt snares. There was some chatter on DFO about it. But still no word if it fits the original Slingerland holes. Please post some pics too!
