Hi, since DW is only interested in my situation if I have a valid warranty I am having to look elsewhere.
Situation: I own a DW snare built in 1994. The strainer has broken. Any suggestion where I can find a spare or equivalent part?
Good Day.

What is the hole spacing and can you get a pic of the strainer? What is broken
on it? There are dealers that can probably order the part for you if it is still available. Also maybe your local music store can order it if it is still available.
Thanks
David
Hi David, the 4 holes for the strainer form a 0.7"x1.5" rectangle. The inner mechanism is what stopped working. I took it apart, but couldnt do much. A part of the mechanism seems to be missing, must have dropped out.
I live in Mexico, no DW dealers in this country.
I appreciate your interest.
So it has a 4 holes for the strainer? Kind of stuck now since many of the replacement strainers only have 2 holes.
If the strainer is still made, I'm sure one of our board members has some
ability to order from DW.
I will ask around. In the meantime get us a picture of the exact strainer.

Can anyone help this member find this strainer or know someone that might have the parts??
