once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Really sad to see. Hope the person finds some of these things and gets them back. He might fare a little better if he posts pics of some of the items taken. Some of the custom snares might be 1 off's and hard to move if pics are plastered over the net on various forums and social media sites. Anyone here know the person?

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

What a devastating loss. He had some irreplaceable items collected over his lifetime, including Craviotto snares made for him BY HIS DAD!

I hope he gets his stuff back, and I hope he has good records of each of them, like I don't. All I have are some pictures on my iPod.

I need to take pictures of everything and write down serial numbers to give to my insurance agent. She might not believe me if everything were stolen or destroyed and I gave her a list without some proof.

1971 Ludwig Rock Duo set in Blue Oyster Pearl
early Mapex dual bass drum Saturn kit
1964 Leedy Ray  Mosca kit in Blue Sparkle
1959 Slingerland Super Gene Krupa snare in WMP
1968 Slingerland Hollywood Ace Snare Drum
1969 and 1977 Ludwig 400 Supraphonic snares
1965 Acrolite snare
Ludwig Coliseum snare
'68 Rogers Dynasonic snare
Pearl free floating piccolo snare
13" Mapex piccolo snare
6.5" deep Mapex steel snare
Mapex 6.5" Brass snare
I know there's more snares than that.
UFIP cymbals / Avedis Zildjians
Ghost pedals or Tama King Beats

Someone must've known what he had and which storage locker and loaded up their van.

Personally I'd never store my gear like that, I'd be more worried about climate control or other outside natural harm than theft.

Check all your local pawn shops! :(

As for insurance, usually on higher valued items you need to schedule each item out individually. I can't imagine what Mike Corrato's insurance premium must be like!

Sorry to hear about this :(

Found it!!

i am now getting a separate writer on my gear as the insurance co will not give the value of your collection unless additionally insured , according to my agent....
