I grabbed this Duplex snare earlier today. I thought it would make a nice display piece. It measures 4 x 15. Any Duplex "experts" out there that can provide any info on this one for cataloging purposes? I'll add some additional pics in a separate post. Thanks!

Interesting. With all that venting, one would have to wonder what that would sound like all tuned with new heads and snares. Looks to be brass hoops (from the scratches). Probably brass shell.

If those clips are welded to the hoops, it's surprising that they are not broken.

Very nice piece. Sorry, I can't provide any catalog info.

Very cool snare OldSchool-i`ve never seen one of these before and that would make a great display piece for sure.I`d love to hear what that drum would sound like.
