Interesting idea, eh?

Dig this though -- plays like a dream! A lot of drummers prefer the one piece footboard for the speed and power.

Y'all know I'm a Speed King fan, but I can honestly say that I was able to play more quickly and accurately, even with heel down, with this one piece footboard.

The advantage of contemporary design, with vintage looks and vibe.

No kidding -- this really is a great piece of gear!

This is still sitting in the drum room, which has spilled into the living room.

Price too high? It's one-of-a-kind, for sure.

So, how 'bout 90 + 10 -- or, open to reasonable offers. Or I'd trade this for a Speed King with clean chrome, all parts, etc. Y'know, a good one.

Oh, I still have the 2 piece footboard, and this is set up so that they are interchangeable. That one has the Yellowjacket sticker on it.

This was one of those crazy ideas that turned out great!

This one was stripped, bearings replaced.

Now, about that groovy Speed King...
