So I'm keeping an eye on the bay, and I comes across this here:

Okay, I've studied a lot of bass head logos and there are some classics, and there are some that are much less inspired, but what is the deal with this? Claims to be new, old stock, but did Gretsch actually produce such a shoddy piece of typography to represent their product? Looks hand drawn, like something from a high school pep rally banner or something... can anyone verify that Gretsch produced this sub-standard piece of work? No wonder there is overstock, geez.

The drums with the "gunmetal"lugs were called Broadkasters.Fairly recent,and I don't think the line was particularly succesful.That is the head that was used on that line's bass drum reso.

Mind Blowi What daddynowhere!?! you don't like my lettering? Hurting don't you know how long and how many black cayons i had to go thru to make these special heads look so cwool? lol Laughing H just kidding

i seen these too i think they could of been cooler was to design their logo.
