I think Ludwig heads in general are coated a bit thinner and the hoops are nicer for seating. I also like the material thickness. It just feels better when those are reso side. There's more resonence and warmth present than with a twin Remo affair.

I'll agree with that, plus one additional thing....they seem to tune up quicker and stay there, unlike Remo and Evans.

Hey guys,
I read and see I am not the only one with the remo snare side problem. As I am in Canada I was wondering if you guys could steer me in the direction of a good seller/supplier in the US. of the Ludwig snare side heads that will accept paypal. Thanks in advance for any response.
