Smoke Vistalites

I am going to check out a set of Vistalites tomorrow. 14x22 8x12 9x13 16x16 and LM400. Pointy B/O badges, 7 digit serials starting with 168xxxx.

Included are some cymbals and hardware.

Seller claims no cracks, but being that there are no resonant hoops or hardware I have a hard time believing it.

Any advice??

I just picked up a clear set recently, same configuration and including a Supra. Same deal - no hoops on resonant side. Surprisingly - no cracks! Good luck.

So I drove 2 1/2 hours to find a cracked 13" drum and a bass drum that was not in round. I then drove back 2 1/2 hours.

Lesson learned.
