Can anyone tell me when these drums were made? I'm a bit confused by Slingerland serial numbers.

Floor (16")- 174286
Kick (22")- 175005

Are the insides natural wood or the milk color?
I'm just guessing, maybe 1965?
Ok just seen your other pictures.
Milk color interior's were fromm 1966 to 1970.
Serial number would put it close to 1966-1967.

1968 was the first year most bass drums from Slingerland had the new Set O Matic tom mount instead of the rail consolette. Most--not all. I would guesstimate the drums to be 1965--1967. That is a wonderful set of a wonderful brand from a wonderful decade in a wonderful color. Do I sound like Lawrence Welk?
