Hey all,

Did the 60's Ace come with optional factory installed COS hoops or were COB hoops only offered?

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Never heard of an optional cob, I think it depends on the year.

I think they switched over to cos in the '67ishes.........???

I wanna say it was a little later than that, I have a 68 that has all COB rims. Was it with the switch of the badge from black and brass to black and silver?

August 21, 1969 was the exact day that Bud Slingerland walked in and said "Switch, you monkeys!"

September 9, 1969 was the date of the first COS hooped kit.

Heck, no one else was going to nail it down, so why not me.

PS. My 68 kit has COB hoops.
