Slingy 10 lug

I just bought a Slingy Artist snare drum. WMP, 10 lugs, solid shell, 5.5x14, zoomatic. Serial # 34841. I'm trying to date the drum. Closest I can get is 1962-1963 It has the gold and black badge. Can anyone help me to pin it down? Thanks.

Photos would help.I think your drum is a 63 model if it has 10 lugs and an all maple shell,although I don't know if its a 3 ply or a single ply steam bent.Sounds like a great drum.

I would show a pic if I could. I used like I do for DFO, but didn't work here. It is a single ply.
