Slingerlands

Loading...

In the mid 70s, I bought my son a set of Slingerlands. The bass drum, the front portion where the name Slingerlands is, also has something else is written on it - The Spirit Of St. Louis. Its now my daughters set. She'll never part with them. The set is black and the snare is silver. Anyone ever hear of this Spirit of St. Louis set? Is it rare?

There was an 80's Spirit series that had the model number printed below the front bd head logo... eg; "Slingerland Spirit 1000/ 3500"etc..

Cheers

John

It does have 1000 on it. What's this mean? Is this considered rare? What would be the worth? The drums are in excellent condition.
