A guy tells me that the reinforcement rings have different colour than the shell, and they are no originals...I think that it's different wood,so different colour....but I'm asking you to ensure it...

I have one of those from the early 60's. It was originally painted/stained and was stamped with a "P". When I bought it the drum had spray painted bright orange, including the stamp. Before I know what the M / P stood for I opted to re-wrap it in WMP. Of course, heads fit a little snug, but not bad and the drum sounds really nice.

That's a good looking rehab on the Slingerland snare drum. However, the poor drum must have an identity crisis with that Ludwig-looking wrap on it.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Maple rings, Mahogany shell would make two different colors.

Looks correct to me.
