I recently acquired a 6 & 1/2" x 14"
chrome over wood Slingerland snare
drum with a silver and black badge.
The serial number is 325305 (Niles, IL)
It's not the 12 lug right side up/upside
down version, and I'm trying to figure
out what year in the 70's this beaut was made.
Any help would be most appreciated!

vintagemore, much appreciated, but that was the first place I looked - it's pretty vague, pointing to an area around 1975. Was hoping to dial in a bit more specifically, y'know?
That is about as good as you'll be able to get ?
Bonzo, welcome to the party! If you post more pics of the drum then then possibly the experts can get a better idea of the date. But as Vintagemore2000 said, that probably is as close as you will get, if anyone should know it would be him. But the pics would give us something to look at at least.
