I bought it end of 69, Niles plant had a sale going on, I should have bought 10 sets, they sound great, I put on G2 coated on the batter side, and remo coated on the res side, however after the fact I think it would have been better to go with clear, for a fuller sound, now that I have my Fibes kit, the sling stays home, and fibes is what I gig with now.
