Slingerland Radio King Concert Tom? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Hey guys!

I have a weird one. Do you know if this is a legit old Radio King conert tom? Its painted black inside, so its hard to tell what type of wood it is, but the grain appears verticle, which makes me think maybe this is just a home-made adventure.

I have however seen some toms like this online and they seem to match in terms of the mount style and stuff. The hoop is a stamped RK hoop. Clips and rods look right.

Just wondering if anyone knows if this is factory?

Thanks!

Thats what I thought. So probably a home made radio king concert tom? Seems like a lot of work to go through to make something with all the right hardware and no extra holes....but...who knows.

Yes it is. Currently on eBay, but I hate eBay! Message me with a fair offer and it's yours!

Here's the rest of the set! Note the 2 "toms" on the R....

It's a Frankenkit I put together back in the '70's. They were just old junky drums back then. The atrocities we must have committed.........

That appears to be an old wood timbale. A very nice little drum that appears to have been re-painted inside and out. Definitely a classic Slingy!
